Cripps is celebrating a fantastic year of charitable fundraising which saw the firm raise over £13,200 to support Porchlight, Kent’s leading homelessness charity.

Lawyers and support staff from the firm participated in a series of different activities throughout 2015 to raise the money. These included regular cake sales, dress down days, a quiz night and the highly competitive ‘Cripps-mas’ Bake-off.  Perhaps the most gruelling activity of all was the ‘Tour de Cripps’ which saw staff members cycling 55 miles between three of Cripps’ offices; London, Kings Hill and Tunbridge Wells.

Solicitor, Hannah Proctor, who organised the ‘Tour de Cripps’ said she “was delighted with the take up and to see Cripps were full of such keen cyclists”. This event alone raised more than £4,300 for the charity.

As Kent’s leading homelessness charity, Porchlight works with vulnerable children, young people and adults to change their lives for the better and provide long-term support to get their lives back on track.

Joanne Spiteri, corporate fundraising manager at Porchlight, said: “We’re so proud that Cripps chose us as their charity of the year.  It’s been a fantastic partnership and staff have been open to ideas and full of energy and enthusiasm.”
