I regularly advise clients in relation to pre or post nuptial agreements, focusing on the safeguarding of wealth or family assets on marriage. I specialise in advising high net worth clients on all matters surrounding separation or divorce.
I am well regarded for my advice on disputes in respect of the care or education arrangements for children. I have experience advising clients in complex children disputes, involving allegations of harm and parental alienation, or involving relocation overseas.
I am pragmatic in the advice which I give to my clients. I aim to achieve the best possible outcome for them and help them plan for the future. I will set out advice clearly and in a way that is easy to comprehend.
I understand that instructing a family lawyer is often a stressful experience, and am attentive and receptive to each client’s individual needs and tailor the process to suit them.
I endeavour to seek resolution of a client’s case by non-court means, where possible, and adopt a conciliatory approach. I will not hesitate, however, to recommend a court application where this is required or is in a client’s best interests.

Drafted and advised a client in relation to a prenuptial agreement to protect a substantial inheritance held in various trust structures.
Advised a client in relation to variation and enforcement of a maintenance order, where the paying party had unilaterally reduced payments made.
Represented a client in contested proceedings where there was significant disparity in the parties’ incomes and issue of non-disclosure of assets.
Represented a parent in children proceedings involving significant allegations made by both parents.
Advised a client further to a relationship breakdown, to include defending applications made for injunctions and opposing financial relief applications.
