I’m the managing partner of Cripps, responsible for managing the strategic and operational direction of the business.
My role is to bring together people across the business to help make a positive difference to our clients, our people, our community and our planet.
I am also a corporate lawyer with more than 25 years’ experience of working with businesses of all sizes on a full range of corporate and advisory matters.
Many of the clients I work with are in the insurance sector where I advise businesses on their growth and exit strategies.
I also specialise in working with and delivering transactions for complex shareholder groups who often have diverse or conflicting interests.
I am ranked in both the Legal 500 2023 and Chambers and Partners 2023 for my corporate work.

My experience
Advised a specialist logistics business on its restructuring, divestment of non-core businesses and then its shareholders on their sale of a minority interest to private equity.
Advised a national leisure park owner on multiple acquisitions of leisure parks across the country.
Advised an insurance broking business on multiple acquisitions and the shareholder on the sale of the business to private equity as well as his rollover investment and its realisation.
Advised a hydrogen energy startup on its structure, protection of IP and funding (seed, series 1 and series 2 investment rounds); series 2 raising £26 million.
Advised an insurance and compliance business on its set up, funding and ongoing buy and build strategy.
Advised a substantial family-owned tyre distribution business on governance, structure and acquisitions. Then worked with the shareholder group to manage their diverse interests.
