Cripps continues to rank top in the South East

Cripps remains one of the South East’s leading law firms for corporate, private client and real estate work according to industry guide, The Legal 500.

Recognised as one of the leading guides for the profession, The Legal 500 analyses the capabilities of law firms with a comprehensive research programme capturing feedback from clients. Law firms are then ranked according to their achievements over the previous 12 months.

In its 2022 edition, the guide has ranked Cripps in the top tier for 15 of its practice areas in the South East, and recommended in a further four areas. In London, the firm is ranked in seven practice areas which includes new rankings in property finance and commercial property – occupiers.

The firm’s corporate and commercial team, who recently won ‘Corporate Law Firm of the Year’ at the South East Dealmakers awards, is praised for its ‘proactive, flexible approach’ and recognised for its ‘strong understanding of commercial drivers and key transaction aspects’. Its commercial property team is noted for being “personal, committed and hardworking” as well as having “the ability to communicate well throughout all legal matters”.

In private client, the firm is recognised for “combining traditional values with modern delivery,” and its “very friendly and approachable manner”. The firm’s family practice, who were also recently recognised as one of the UK’s top family law firms by eprivateclient, are commended by clients, with one stating “what makes the firm unique and different to firms I had worked with previously was that at every level Cripps made you feel that you mattered”.

In addition, 15 lawyers have been recognised as leading individuals, six as next generation partners, three as rising stars and one in the hall of fame.
