Cripps team advises on the sale of Drayton House Nursery School

Cripps’ corporate team has advised on the sale of the business and assets of Drayton House Nursery School in Guildford, to Little Garden Day Nurseries Limited.

Founded in 1943, Drayton House Nursery School provides care for children from 6 months to 5 years old. Offering a high standard of teaching and small class sizes, it is one of the most respected and sought after nursery schools in Surrey.

Current owner Jennifer Tyson-Jones plans to retire once the sale of the business has completed, following a long and successful career of thirty eight years.

The Cripps team, which was led by Julie Hughes and included Lauren Romo, Rachel Holdaway, Mollie Wilson and Rosie Harvey, advised on all legal aspects of the transaction, working alongside Sophie Wilcox and the childcare team at Christie & Co.
