Cripps has been ranked top in Kent for its private client work by the Chambers High Net Worth (HNW) 2017 guide.

Chambers and Partners, which has researched and ranked the world’s best lawyers for the last 25 years, introduced its High Net Worth Guide in 2016 to be used by family offices and professional advisers and by wealthy individuals looking for a specialist adviser.  The guide covers private wealth management work and related specialisms in key jurisdictions across the world.

The guide highlights the firm’s ‘very good reputation’ for its private client practice, with an interviewee praising “the clear professional advice that they offer and the swift responses that they always give”.  The private wealth team is described as “innovative, forward looking and flexible” and the firm’s specialist disputes team, dealing solely with contentious private client matters, are also referenced.  In addition, Simon Leney is noted as the top legal adviser in private wealth law for Kent. Sources state he is a ‘standout individual’ who is ‘‘very well-respected’ in the industry.

Myles McIntosh, head of the private client department at Cripps said:  “We are delighted to be listed as the market leader in Kent for this new section of the guide and that Simon has been ranked as a leading individual in his field.

Our focus remains on being our client’s trusted legal adviser, delivering exceptional private client services across a range of disciplines. We have been ranked in the top tier by Chambers for more than 10 years, and this accolade reaffirms we are getting it right.”
