Law firm Cripps has been recognised by a worldwide professional private client association for its work in trust and estate disputes.

The firm’s specialist disputes team has been named as a finalist in the ‘Contentious Trusts & Estates Team of the Year’ category at the STEP Private Client Awards 2018/19.  The prestigious awards recognise outstanding and complex work by solicitors, accountants, barristers, bankers, trust managers and financial advisors across the private wealth sector.  The awards are open for both STEP members and non-members to enter with all categories assessed by an independent panel of expert judges.

Myles McIntosh, partner and head of the private client team commented: “Our trust and estates disputes team is highly experienced and works on  many specialist and complex matters on a day-to-day basis.  We are extremely proud of the service we deliver to our clients, and are thrilled that STEP has recognised this.”

This latest accolade comes shortly after the team were recognised by the Chambers High Net Worth 2018 Guide as a national leader for its private client practice – the only firm to be named in Kent.

The winners will be announced at a dinner and awards ceremony on 7 November 2018.
