Cripps’ healthcare team has been nationally recognised for its Primary Care Advantage programme by the Health Service Journal (HSJ).

The programme has been shortlisted for the HSJ Partnership Legal Services Provider of the Year award.  The awards celebrate the best products and services being used by the NHS, recognising excellent healthcare partnerships in law, recruitment, medtech, property and many more.

The Primary Care Advantage programme is designed to support GPs in building sustainable, efficient and collaborative alliances to deliver new models of care.  It is aligned with the NHS Five Year Forward View and, through a series of workshops, prepares practices for funding within Accountable Care Systems.

Commenting on the shortlisting, Justin Cumberlege, partner at Cripps said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for this prestigious award.  Forming a federation is often unfamiliar territory for GPs and it’s really important that they have a clear understanding of organisational development.

We’ve been working hard to understand how we can better support GPs in this area, not only through legal advice, but also assisting with their future plans to enable continuity and financial stability.  There has been a really positive response to our Primary Care Advantage programme, and this shortlisting is further proof that we are getting it right”.

The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony at Royal College of Physicians on 8 March 2018.
