Lawyers pedal for Porchlight
Staff from law firm Cripps are pedaling their way along the roads of Kent in preparation for the first ever ‘Tour de Cripps’ charity bike ride.
They will be cycling between three of the Cripps offices on 25 September, a 90km route taking them from the London office near Charing Cross to Tunbridge Wells via Kings Hill.
The team is raising money for Porchlight, Kent’s leading homelessness charity, which works with vulnerable children, young people and adults to change their lives for the better and provide long-term support to get their lives back on track.
Trainee solicitor Hannah Proctor, who is organising the ‘Tour de Cripps’, said: “We are practising hard – I am putting in four hours training during the week and doing a 30 mile bike ride at weekends.
“I am delighted by the take up, we are obviously a firm of keen cyclists and it is great that we have a wide range of people taking part, from juniors to partners. I am hoping it will become an annual event.”
