Terms and conditions

  1. The promoter is: Cripps LLP (company no. OC311169) whose registered office is at 22 Mount Ephraim, Tunbridge Wells, TN4 8AS (the “Promoter”)
  2. This competition is open to participants aged 18 years or over. This competition is not open to any employees of Cripps LLP or anyone else connected with the competition.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  4. Entrants must ‘check in’ to Cripps on Facebook and post an image of themselves in front of the Cripps Tunbridge Wells office (22 Mount Ephraim, Tunbridge Wells, TN4 8AS) with a Cripps logo from our offices in the photo, on the Cripps Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/crippsllp) in order to enter and have the chance to win one copy of the Royal Tunbridge Wells edition of Monopoly game (the “Prize”). While the competition may be promoted through other social media channels, entry is only permitted via Facebook. Any entries which do not comply with these terms and conditions will not be accepted.
  5. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person or the same Twitter or Facebook account will be disqualified.
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to remove or disqualify any entry that it deems to be inappropriate or in breach of these terms and conditions.
  7. The opening date for entry is 10.30am on 26th October 2017.  The closing date for entry will be 5pm on 9th November 2017. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received. Neither the Promoter nor its agencies will be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of the Promoter.
  9. Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts your statutory rights as a consumer.
  10. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for any fault, malfunction, damage, loss or disappointment suffered by you arising from participating in the competition, whether due to any error, omission by the Promoter or its employees, agents or others or by any other cause.
  11. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or withdraw the competition or amend the campaign or these terms and conditions without prior notice. Any changes will be posted in an updated version of these terms and conditions.
  12. All prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable and there is no cash alternative offered.
  13. Winners will be selected in a random draw from all valid entries received during the competition period. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner’s name and county can be obtained by sending an email to [digital@cripps.co.uk] within 14 days after the closing date of the competition.
  14. The winner will be notified by a direct message on Facebook (depending on the method of entry) within 7 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner using the process described above.
  15. The Promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.
  16. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  17. By participating in this competition you agree that the Promoter may use, your name, image and any other information provided by you in any publicity material or to otherwise administer the competition. Such information will be held and used in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (http://www.cripps.co.uk/privacy). This includes responding to enquiries about your name and county as set out above.  
  18. The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in your competition entry, however you agree that the Promoter may (but is not required to) make your entry available on its website and any other media (including but not limited to social media), and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You agree to grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence to use, publish, copy, edit, and sub-licence the competition entry for such purposes.
  19. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other social network. You are providing your information to Cripps LLP and not to any other party. You acknowledge that neither Facebook nor Twitter will have any liability in relation to this competition and you release Facebook and Twitter from any such liability.
  20. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  21. Nothing in these terms and conditions will exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  22. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
