Gemma Mintram

Managing Associate

I enjoy the challenges that being a corporate lawyer involves and take pride in being able to assist clients in fulfilling their business aspirations, looking at everything from the client’s commercial point of view.

At the end of the day the client wants to get the deal done and there is nearly always a commercial solution to most hurdles which is acceptable to both parties. My strength is being able to explain legal provisions to clients without using legal jargon and I have the ability to manage multiple transactions whilst still providing a personal service.

My particular area of expertise is the healthcare sector – working with pharmacists, dentists, GPs, care home operators, operators of independent fostering agencies and domiciliary care providers. Acting regularly for banks in the healthcare sector enables me to anticipate the likely conditions of lending to be imposed by the various banks for healthcare transactions.

Clients often say that they find me to be more approachable and ‘normal’ than other lawyers they have dealt with – this is my aim as I wish to work with clients, not for them.
