Cripps has advised on the sale of Poppies Day Nurseries Limited to Family First.

Founded in 2006 by friends Anne Fox and Linda Hill, the company now provides almost 400 nursery places and employs over 100 staff across its six settings in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.

Private equity backed Family First is one of the UK’s fastest growing nursery groups and its purchase of Poppies Day Nurseries, brings the total number of nurseries it operates to 17.

Working alongside Sophie Wilcox, Director at specialist property adviser Christie & Co, the Cripps team project managed the sale process, utilising the firm’s ‘Cripps Collaborate’ platform to collate all of the due diligence information to ensure everyone involved had easy, real-time access to the information needed.
