Cripps is delighted to announce a number of new appointments to its specialist private client team as the firm continues to grow.

He also has extensive experience advising owners, custodians and managers of rural estates on tax and succession issues.

Paul is a full member of Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the leading international network of experts in family inheritance and succession planning. He has also been named in the Spear’s 500 guide to wealth management advisers, as well being listed in eprivateclient’s top 35 private client professionals under the age of 35 and in the Private Client Global Elite directory

Richard Mencner joins as head of the tax and trusts team, and has a wealth of experience acquired during his career which spans more than three decades.   Prior to joining Cripps, Richard held senior positions at London-based C Hoare & Co, and Heartwood Wealth Management.  He also headed the tax and trusts team at a Sussex firm, dealing largely with investment bankers and senior executives of FTSE companies.

Myles McIntosh, head of the private client team at Cripps, said: “We are delighted to welcome Paul, Richard and Vikki to the team.

We already have an excellent reputation for our private wealth work and with Richard and Vikki’s significant experience and expertise from both wealth management and the accountancy sector, and Paul’s expertise with both domestic and international clients, this helps us strengthen our overall service offering to clients.”

These appointments, together with previous expert hires earlier this year into the areas of wills and trusts and financial mis-selling, reaffirm our commitment to delivering a highly-specialised and personal service to our clients.”

The Cripps private client team was recently recognised nationally for its expertise in the Chambers and Partners 2018 guide with sources highlighting its ‘very good reputation’ and ‘innovative approach’.
