Working in the transactional services team, I provide support to our corporate lawyers by efficiently delivering the due diligence stage of mergers and acquisitions.
My role also involves drafting documents and assisting with the negotiation of some aspects of share purchase agreements. I also handle other types of corporate matters, such as share issues, reorganisations, buybacks and shareholder agreements.
I am involved in piloting and training others on the use of legal technology tools, a recent example being the introduction of our electronic signature capabilities. This has enabled us to carry out convenient, remote completions without reliance on post or in-person signing meetings.
The nature of my role means that I get to develop a close working relationship with our clients, supporting them through the intensive information gathering and disclosure stage of their matter.
I pride myself on my ability to reassure and instil confidence in our clients by bringing a calm, detail-oriented approach to the work we do together.
