I help businesses, lenders and insolvency practitioners navigate complex disputes and financial distress – supporting them to preserve value, minimise risk and find practical solutions.
As partner and head of the commercial dispute resolution and restructuring & insolvency teams, I bring over 20 years’ experience handling high-value, complex disputes – often acting against leading City firms.
My practice spans both contentious and non-contentious restructuring and insolvency matters. I advise insolvency practitioners, creditors (including landlords) and companies in financial difficulty, with particular expertise in claims against directors and other high-stakes disputes arising in distressed situations.
Alongside my insolvency practice, I advise on a broad range of commercial disputes, including corporate governance issues, shareholder disputes, and disputes relating to IT and technology contracts.
I have a particular interest in supporting charities and non-profit organisations, advising on disputes as well as governance and restructuring challenges, including situations involving financial distress or insolvency.
Clients value my pragmatic, straightforward approach and focus on achieving the right commercial outcome.
I am recognised as a specialist in commercial dispute resolution and insolvency by Chambers and Partners and Legal 500.
