4 Jun 2026

Against a backdrop of ongoing global and local challenges, Cripps continues to invest in long-term success by embedding responsible leadership at the heart of decision‑making and building resilience by responding to the issues that matter most to clients, people and communities.

Key impact report highlights

Client service and trust: Clients recognised the firm‘s ability to solve complex problems with care and clarity. In 2025, Cripps achieved a +78 Net Promoter Score, up from +71 in the prior year.

Supporting early careers: The firm welcomed its first solicitors qualifying through its apprenticeship scheme marking a significant milestone as one of the early adopters of the apprenticeship route.

Measurement‑led climate action: The accuracy of carbon measurement has been improved with a shift from spend‑based to emissions‑based data. The firm is due to introduce an employee EV salary sacrifice scheme in 2026 and, following SBTi verification in 2027, intends to bring its net zero targets forward in line with several of its clients.

Investing in community: Community impact is a structured long-term commitment, with the firm investing 2% of profit in communities for the second consecutive year. In 2025, Cripps delivered 1,954 hours of positive impact and appointed a new pro bono champion to help build further momentum.

Mike Scott, senior partner at Cripps, commented: “We believe long-term commercial success and positive impact go hand-in-hand. We are committed to delivering the highest quality service, creating the best environment for talent to thrive, and fulfilling our ambitions as a B Corp business that cares.”

Looking ahead

Cripps remains focused on using purpose as a practical driver to deliver long-term value for people and clients. The year ahead will be about strengthening stakeholder‑led governance as the firm embeds its purpose more deeply into decision‑making, ensuring that what matters most to its clients, people, communities and the environment directly shapes strategy and investment.

Liz Carter, purpose and impact senior manager at Cripps, commented, “This year marks an important shift as we prepare for the new B Corp standards and understand at a deeper level where Cripps is uniquely placed to make a genuine difference.”

A call for collective action

Cripps’ report serves as a call to action for others to actively engage. The firm embraces the B Corp Declaration of Interdependence, recognising that long-term success depends on shared efforts and collective responsibility.
