AI and data show: December 2025
We held our December edition of this season’s series on Wednesday 3 December at 12.30pm – a 45-minute session for anyone interested in AI, technology, privacy and information rights. It was the last AI & Data Show of 2025.
What we discussed:
Getty Images vs Stability AI
Matt was joined by special guest Ben Maling of EIP as they discussed (arguably) the biggest AI case of the year: Getty Images & Stability AI. Together they unpacked its key details, explored what it meant for UK businesses at the time and considered what the judgment signalled for the UK’s AI landscape moving forward.
The Capita fine gets digested
For those wanting to understand why Capita was fined £14m by the ICO and what organisations could do to prevent that happening to them, this segment was invaluable. Matt and Cripps’ Jasprit Kaur digested this important ICO decision.
Large Language Model vulnerabilities
Matt and the team reviewed the October research paper from AISI on model poisoning and asked the vital question: what, if anything, an in-house lawyer could do about it.
