Championing women who push boundaries: Molly Sacker’s Olympic journey
Molly Sacker is an inspiring example of determination, ambition, and resilience in a sport largely dominated by men. Competing for the sole spot on the British Sailing Team for the 2028 Olympics, she has shown us what it means to push boundaries and lead with confidence.
In 2025, Cripps sponsored Molly, allowing her to remain a full-time athlete. The impact of this is evident in the significant progress she has made over the year and went on to deliver one of her strongest seasons yet.
Molly adapted to a major change in racing format, finishing 4th at her first international regatta under the new system and securing a personal best. This momentum continued as she climbed into the Top 30 World Sailing Rankings and reached 14th in the Grand Slam rankings, marking a significant step forward on the world stage.
Looking ahead, 2026 brings an exciting schedule as Molly builds on her success to date and is preparing for both the European Championships and World Championships, alongside Grand Slam regattas.
Molly’s journey reflects the spirit of our female leader’s initiative, celebrating women who break barriers, show courage, and lead the way for others.
