Cripps accelerates growth with 2026 promotions

Top 100 law firm Cripps is pleased to announce its latest round of promotions, effective from 1 May 2026. In total, 25 of its people were promoted across its legal and business services teams.

Among them is James Blyth, a lawyer in the real estate team, who has been promoted to partner. James began his career as a trainee solicitor at Cripps in 2010. His work focuses on property disputes for landowners, investors, developers, occupiers, and individuals.

The wider promotion round includes four people promoted to legal director, two to managing associate, and 10 to senior associate, alongside eight promotions across business services.

These promotions come as Cripps strengthens its commercial and technology practice with the arrival of a team from Radius Law that specialises in the automotive sector. This reflects the firm’s continued investment in supporting clients with complex commercial and regulatory needs.
