Cripps advises the MetOcean Group on the sale of MetOcean Telematics (U.K.) Limited

Cripps has advised the MetOcean Group on the sale of MetOcean Telematics (U.K.) Limited to NSSL Global Limited, a leading independent provider of satellite communications and systems integration services. 

The transaction formed part of a strategic divestment, separating the global security arm of the MetOcean group from its wider operations while preserving the seller’s defence business, which will continue to operate in Canada.

The transaction involved significant cross-border and operational complexities, requiring the separation of interconnected international business functions and the implementation of pre-completion restructuring workstreams. Cripps worked closely with the MetOcean Group throughout the process, coordinating specialist legal advice across multiple jurisdictions and supporting the client through the separation of the group’s operational arrangements, regulatory approval and completion.
