Cripps raise over £29,000 for Alzheimer’s Research UK

5 Jun 2023

A charity partnership between top 100 law firm Cripps and Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) has raised £29,230.

Over the past 12 months, staff at Cripps have undertaken various fundraising activities for ARUK with the biggest fundraiser being the South Coast Challenge, which involved a group of twelve individuals walking a combined 760km from Polegate to Arundel. This challenge alone raised over £4,100. Other activities included a photography competition, a charity quiz and staff donating an hour of pay.

Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is the UK’s leading dementia research charity. It works to revolutionise the way we treat, diagnose and prevent dementia. The charity does this through research projects, educating the public with awareness campaigns, working with government to influence policies and supporting healthcare professionals to promote brain health.

Jade Hallam, who will be heading up Cripps’ charity committee from 1 July 2023, commented: “It has been a pleasure to work with Alzheimer’s Research UK as our chosen charity partner for the year 2022/2023. Dementia affects so many people, either directly or through caring for others, so we are all delighted to have raised these much needed funds to support Alzheimer’s Research UK’s incredible work”.
