Global tech company Uniguest completes third UK acquisition with support from Cripps

Cripps’ corporate team has advised Uniguest on its successful acquisition of UK-based video platform provider Planet eStream.

US private equity backed Uniguest is a global leader in providing highly secure, fully managed digital engagement technology solutions to the hospitality, senior living, specialty retail, education, sports, stadium, and corporate sectors. Through the acquisition of Planet eStream Uniguest increases its footprint in the education industry while adding breadth to its already robust digital signage and video capabilities.

The Cripps team, which was led by Salim Somjee and included Laura Wilson, Motunrayo Alamu-Folorunso, Camilla Beamish (Employment), Ed Fowler, Sharni Bromfield (Real Estate) and Elliot Fry (Commercial), worked closely with Uniguest, Atlantic Street Capital (Uniguest’s private equity partners) and UK accountants Kreston Reeves (who carried out the financial due diligence and provided tax support).
