We will cover:

The enhanced duty to prevent sexual harassment

From October 2026, new and enhanced obligations on employers will come into force, introducing the duty to take all reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace.

This session will explore:

  • What “all reasonable steps” means in practice
  • How to prepare for compliance by assessing and managing the risk of sexual harassment in the workplace
  • The extension of protection to third-party harassment
  • Real-life scenarios and “grey areas” that can create uncertainty for HR teams
  • Recent developments and lessons from case law

We will also discuss how to help you promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.

Why a roundtable?

Our virtual roundtable is an opportunity for an open and frank discussion in an intimate setting, covering challenges and issues that leaders in HR are currently facing and offering solutions.

Our experience has demonstrated that this format allows helpful sharing of experience, learnings and challenges, as well as an opportunity to speak to peers experiencing similar challenges.

All forum sessions are subject to Chatham House rules – this is to encourage open and honest conversation.

Got a tricky situation or burning question? Bring it along! You’re welcome to ask questions live during the session or submit them in advance.
