Cripps team advises on the sale of Hove Village Day Nursery to Little Dukes

Cripps’ corporate team has advised Kathryn and Mark Hyatt on the sale of Hove Village Day Nursery Limited to Little Dukes Limited.

Hove Village is a group of three unique day nurseries, all situated in the Brighton and Hove area, at Bloomsbury Street Day Nursery, Hove Village Day Nursery at Hove Library and Hove Village Day Nursery at New Church Road. Creativity is at the heart of their inspiring childcare offering, where children enjoy music, dance, yoga and art classes in a warm and caring environment.

It has been purchased by Little Dukes, which is the early years arm of Dukes Education operating some of the UK’s finest independent nurseries, schools and colleges in London and across the UK in Cambridge, Cardiff, Kent, Richmond upon Thames and Worthing.

The Cripps team, which was led by Julie Hughes and included Lauren Romo, Megan Barton, Rachel Holdaway, and Rosie Harvey, advised on all legal aspects of the transaction including property aspects and banking work, working alongside the childcare team at Christie & Co.
