I have over 15 years’ experience as a specialist employment lawyer. I deal with the whole spectrum of employment law issues, from day-to-day employee relations to complex litigation. I act for a broad range of employer clients across corporate, public and charity sectors, as well as acting for senior executives and professionals.
My clients value the depth and breadth of my expertise. I deliver authoritative, practical and strategic advice which allows them to achieve the right outcomes and solutions.
My experience extends to providing training to external organisations, including as a course lecturer for the CIPD. I regularly write published articles and commentary of practical interest and importance for HR specialists and the business community and have also appeared as an employment law expert on local television and radio.

Successfully represented a local authority in its defence of a series of complex whistleblowing detriment, disability discrimination and unfair dismissal claims.
Supported a challenger bank across a range of employment matters, including disciplinary and grievance processes, data protection complaints, furlough scheme and Covid-19 related issues.
Acted for a university in its defence of a number of employment tribunal cases, involving disability discrimination, race discrimination and unfair dismissal claims.
Supported a software developer client in its project preparing for off-payroll working (IR35) compliance, including review of its status determinations and preparing associated documentation.
Acted for a number of senior executives in relation to their exit terms and settlement agreements with British Telecom.
Managed the negotiated exit of the chief executive of a housing association against a background of a referral of the organisation to the Regulator of Social Housing.
