Cripps advises on the sale of local nurseries

Cripps has advised the owners of Forest Park Day Nursery & Pre-School in Tunbridge Wells and The Warren Day Nursery & Pre-School in Crowborough on the simultaneous sale of both established nursery businesses to Kids Planet Day Nurseries Limited. 

Julie Hughes, lead lawyer on the transaction, said: “This was a complex transaction involving two separate nursery businesses, distinct property arrangements and an ambitious completion timetable. Successful completion required close coordination across several legal and operational workstreams, and we were delighted to support Nick and Claire throughout the process.” 

Nick and Claire Braidwood, owners of the two nurseries, said: “Cripps’ support and commitment was exceptional, and we are not sure we could have got through the transaction without them. The team were always on hand when needed and a real pleasure to work with. The sale simply would not have been possible without the support of the entire team.”
