Cripps advise Holiday Extras on their acquisition of Kent-based Future Generation Services Limited

Cripps has advised long-standing client Holiday Extras on its acquisition of Future Generation Services (FGS), a company specialising in the development of queue-busting airport ticket kiosks and key lockers that ensure every trip is seamless for travellers.

Holiday Extras is the UK market leader in airport parking, airport hotels, worldwide airport lounges, destination care hire, airport transfers and holiday insurance. Established in 1983, Holiday Extras makes bookings for over 8 million travellers each year and has been listed eleven times in The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work for.

This deal bolsters the convenience of Holiday Extras’ ParkIt software offering and is the group’s third major investment into global technology businesses this year. By joining forces, Holiday Extras can further fuse FGS’s innovative hardware with ParkIT’s pioneering software, delivering new products and increasing airport parking capacity across the globe and turbocharging their technology portfolio.

The Cripps team advising on the transaction was led by Beth Barns-Graham (corporate) and included Andreea Rusu (corporate), Roberta Organ (property), Luke Smyth ( property), Holly Milne-Peasy (employment) and Jasprit Kaur (commercial). This is the second acquisition Cripps has undertaken for Holiday Extras in a matter of weeks.
